Hello, welcome to my page.

Karli has been doing mortgages for over 25 years and is still just as passionate as when she first started about educating and helping others obtain The American Dream of homeownership. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics and a Master’s Degree in Project Management which are not required, but have served her well in this industry.

She believes that everything someone experiences in life adds value and can be used in some way to help others. She has also worn many different hats in her lifetime including owning and operating The American Dream Machine food truck, teaching economics at a local college, bidding and expediting for her husband’s construction company, insurance sales and inspections, and a variety of other sales positions. Karli doesn’t let the grass grow under her feet and is always seeking new opportunities to add value to those she serves in the mortgage industry.

She is a devoted wife of 30 years and mother to three children and two dogs and many grand-dogs. In her down time, she enjoys traveling, camping and experiencing new things with her husband.

Our Loan Process...

LOAN APPLICATION & DOCUMENTATION

Provide basic info to us such as employment, income, and assets. A typical loan application takes 10-15 minutes by phone or online. Then, you will be given a secure place to upload a few requested documents.

PRE-APPROVAL

A loan pre-approval sets you up for a smooth home buying experience. At this stage, we review your information and documents to determine the best programs to fit your specific needs and present you with those options and give you your maximum preapproval amount or your desired preapproval amount if it is less than the max.

SHOP

Start working with a real estate agent and viewing homes. If you don’t already have an agent, please let us know right away so we can connect you with someone we have vetted and trust to take amazing care of you and educate you on that side of the homebuying journey.

LOAN PROCESSING

Once your offer is accepted and we have provided your loan disclosures, our processor will work to assemble all the necessary paperwork and details for the underwriter. Depending on how long your home shopping timeline was, we may need updated documents. It’s always a great idea to keep paystubs and bank statements in a safe place for quick access when needed.

UNDERWRITING

The underwriter will closely evaluate all the documentation in the loan package to ensure you meet the loan program requirements. They will work closely with our team to ensure we get anything remaining or answer questions they might have. Do not worry if the underwriter comes back and asks for a couple more documents – this is normal.

CLOSING

Once your loan is final approved, our closing department will work together with the title company to balance your final closing disclosure. Once that is done and we have reviewed and approved of the numbers, documents are drawn and sent to the title company for closing.
