Hello, welcome to my page.

Nicole has been in the mortgage industry in both processing and underwriting since 2008. Her goal is to make the mortgage process as smooth as possible for the customers by addressing any potential issues as early in the process as possible and working with her team to ensure a timely closing. She has a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in Criminal Justice with an emphasis on economic crime investigation. These add to her many strengths in her role on the team to identify challenges before they come up in underwriting.

Our Loan Process...

LOAN APPLICATION & DOCUMENTATION

Provide basic info to us such as employment, income, and assets. A typical loan application takes 10-15 minutes by phone or online. Then, you will be given a secure place to upload a few requested documents.

PRE-APPROVAL

A loan pre-approval sets you up for a smooth home buying experience. At this stage, we review your information and documents to determine the best programs to fit your specific needs and present you with those options and give you your maximum preapproval amount or your desired preapproval amount if it is less than the max.

SHOP

Start working with a real estate agent and viewing homes. If you don’t already have an agent, please let us know right away so we can connect you with someone we have vetted and trust to take amazing care of you and educate you on that side of the homebuying journey.

LOAN PROCESSING

Once your offer is accepted and we have provided your loan disclosures, our processor will work to assemble all the necessary paperwork and details for the underwriter. Depending on how long your home shopping timeline was, we may need updated documents. It’s always a great idea to keep paystubs and bank statements in a safe place for quick access when needed.

UNDERWRITING

The underwriter will closely evaluate all the documentation in the loan package to ensure you meet the loan program requirements. They will work closely with our team to ensure we get anything remaining or answer questions they might have. Do not worry if the underwriter comes back and asks for a couple more documents – this is normal.

CLOSING

Once your loan is final approved, our closing department will work together with the title company to balance your final closing disclosure. Once that is done and we have reviewed and approved of the numbers, documents are drawn and sent to the title company for closing.
